Just a short distance from Tokyo,Yokohama is filled with fascinating things to see and do. Most passenger-ship terminals in Yokohama are directly adjacent to the city’s most famous attractions, including Minato Mirai 21, Yokohama Chinatown, Yamashita Park and Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, so you can take in plenty of unforgettable experiences. Yokohama also offers superb access to nearby destinations such as Tokyo, Kamakura, Hakone and Tokyo Disney Resort, so adding a stay or day trip to explore nearby areas is definitely recommended.

Cruise Friendly Program YOKOHAMA

All passengers and crew of cruise ships calling at the Port of Yokohama are welcome to join the Cruise Friendly Program. When you visit Program-member stores, restaurants and facilities near the port, simply present the Cruise Friendly map distributed to you at the passenger terminal.

Everyone will be welcomed with a smile.

The Kanagawa Systematized Goodwill Guide Club (KSGG) is a language volunteer group. KSGG was founded in March 1989 by 82 volunteer goodwill guides operating in Kanagawa Prefecture, with support from the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), Kanagawa Prefecture, the Kanagawa Prefectural Tourism Organization and the Yokohama Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Under the motto ‘Those who can, when they can, what they can” KSGG members apply the linguistic abilities of each individual and a spirit of hospitality to welcome visitors in a wide range of activities.
In addition to assisting with international conferences and groups, KSGG accepts requests for guides through its website and offers guided tours to individuals.
If you are interested in KSGG’s guiding and interpreting services, simply inquire by filling out the request form on the KSGG website at the URL below. Requests must be received at least two weeks before your desired date. (Tours in Japanese are not available.)
