Le Jardin Italien de Yamate, où se dresse la Maison d'un diplomate, a renouvelé sa roseraie au printemps 2018. Abritant 250 souches de roses d'environ 40 variétés, dont des variétés locales de Yokohama telles que "Hama Mirai" et "Saint de Yokohama", qui ont été créés pour commémorer le 150e anniversaire de l'ouverture du port de Yokohama.
