Yamashita Park

Yamashita Park’s rose garden serves as the “Rose Garden of the Future,” a symbolic garden of Yokohama that passes the history of roses from past to future. With climbing roses and standard roses creating three-dimensional and diverse displays, visitors can enjoy approximately 160 varieties and 1,900 rose plants.

Harbor View Park (Minato-no-Mieru Oka Koen)

Themed around English roses, this garden features mixed plantings of annuals and perennials, with various roses competing in bloom throughout the four seasons. In the sunken garden “Garden of Fragrance” and the “Rose and Cascade Garden” connecting the rear gardens of the Yokohama British House and Yamate No. 111, visitors can enjoy the fragrance and colors of roses year-round while taking advantage of the natural topography.

Yamate Italian Garden

At Yamate Italian Garden, home to the Diplomat’s House, visitors can leisurely enjoy Western-style buildings and roses. Approximately 490 varieties and 500 rose plants are planted, including roses related to Yokohama such as “Hama Mirai” and “Scent of Yokohama,” created to commemorate Yokohama’s 150th port opening anniversary. You can take your time enjoying the Western-style architecture alongside the roses.

At Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise’s Hill Plaza Rose Garden, approximately 100 varieties and 500 rose plants bloom brilliantly in May, transforming the island into a colorful floral paradise. Yokohama Children’s Botanical Garden
