Start your trip from JR Sakuragicho Station, conveniently located about 30 minutes by train from Shibuya and easily accessible from central Tokyo. Head to the boarding area of the YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN, the urban ropeway right in front of the station.

This urban circular ropeway connects JR Sakuragicho Station to Canal Park in the Shinko District, spanning approximately 630 meters over roads and canals in about five minutes. Enjoy a mini “aerial stroll” while taking in the wonderful views of the Minato Mirai 21 district. This exciting ride will make you even more eager for the journey ahead! At night, the stations and cabins are illuminated, creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere. Each cabin can accommodate up to eight people, and both the stations and cabins are fully accessible, ensuring a comfortable experience for all visitors.

3: Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse (Aka-Renga Soko)〔12:30〕

Originally built in the early 1910s, the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse is one of Yokohama’s most iconic landmarks. It was initially used as a warehouse to temporarily store goods brought in from overseas at Yokohama Port. While preserving its historic charm, the building has been beautifully renovated into a stylish complex housing restaurants and cafes. From stylish souvenir shops to beautifully crafted sweets, the facility is packed with perfect spots for shopping and cafe-hopping. The outdoor plaza hosts various kinds of events throughout the year, such as the Christmas Market, Oktoberfest and the Strawberry Festival, drawing lively crowds.

5: Yokohama Chinatown〔15:00〕

This is one of the world's largest Chinatowns, with over 600 restaurants and shops offering Chinese cuisine and goods. The area was established in the late 19th century after Yokohama’s port opened, attracting both Westerners and Chinese settlers, forming the foundation of today’s Chinatown. The restaurants here offer a wide variety, from affordable set meals to authentic dim sum and delicious sweets. The area also features temples dedicated to various deities, such as Kanteibyo Temple and Masobyo Temple, making it a great spot to explore.

6: Yokohama Marine Tower〔16:00〕

After enjoying a stroll through Chinatown, let’s head to Yokohama’s iconic Marine Tower. Built in 1961 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Yokohama’s port opening, the Yokohama Marine Tower stands at 106 meters tall. Once the tallest lighthouse in the world, it was a unique landmark. Today, it remains one of Yokohama’s symbols. From the two observation floors, gaze out on a 360-degree panoramic view of the city, and on clear days, you can also see Mt. Fuji. Whether it’s the twilight or nighttime scenery, the view of the waterfront city changes beautifully with the passing hours. On the top floor, there is also a special display where images are projected onto the sparkling night view.
After soaking in the port city views, head back towards Yokohama Station, but why not make your journey even more stylish? Take a “Sea Bass” for a mini night cruise and enjoy the waterfront views!

Sea Bass

The “Sea Bass” connects major spots like Yokohama Station East Exit, Hammerhead, Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, and Yamashita Park by water. The direct route between Yokohama Station East Exit and Yamashita Park takes about 20 minutes. Take in the scenic views of Yokohama Port while avoiding traffic. Don’t forget to take a souvenir photo with the Minato Mirai skyline in the background.
On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, special 60-minute guided cruises with a unique route are also available.
