Sixth Yokohama Chinatown Film Festival 2017

This film festival, held in Yokohama Chinatown, one of the largest Chinatowns in Japan, features special showings of movies from China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. The venue, the hall of the Douhatsu New Building, is a historic building which was once the home of the Shinko movie theater before being refurbished as a large space used for weddings and other events. What’s more, the Chinese National Day and Double Tenth Day festivals will also take place in Chinatown during the Film Festival period, allowing you to enjoy the lion dance parade and other sightseeing in addition to the movies.
