Yokohama Chinatown “Chinese New Year Lanterns 2026”
A lantern event celebrating the Spring Festival (Chinese New Year) will be held in Yokohama Chinatown from Saturday, November 1, 2025 to Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
The main attraction is a grand dragon towering over Chinatown’s Main Street, while a smaller, adorable dragon dances across the night sky of Kanteibyo Street.
In addition, various lanterns will be installed throughout the area, wrapping Yokohama Chinatown in an even more festive and vibrant atmosphere than usual.
