The market’s “Food Specialty Street” offers a wide variety of products, including seafood, fruits and vegetables, meat, and rice, all at affordable prices—making it a true "kitchen of Yokohama." There are several restaurants where you can savor fresh fish dishes such as sashimi and grilled fish, as well as fried fish set meals, starting at 8:00 AM. Additionally, at the adjacent BRANCH Yokohama Nanbu Market, you can also have a breakfast menu available in limited quantities and hours, with a variety of items like bread and soups. Motomachi Shopping Street, stretching for 600 meters, offers a sophisticated atmosphere that’s perfect for a leisurely stroll. The street is lined with chic boutiques, shops, and cafes. It’s also the birthplace of the “Hama-Tora” (“Yokohama Traditional”) fashion movement that became popular among young women in the 1970s and 80s, and some of the brands that fueled this trend are still present today. Twice a year, in February and September, the “Charming Sale” draws many shoppers, including those from outside the city. 13: Yokohama Marine Tower〔16:00〕

Built in 1961 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Yokohama Port’s opening, the Yokohama Marine Tower stands at 106 meters tall. Once the tallest lighthouse in the world, it was a unique landmark. Today, it remains one of Yokohama’s symbols. From the two observation floors, gaze out on a 360-degree panoramic view of the city, and on clear days, you can also see Mt. Fuji. Whether it’s the twilight or nighttime scenery, the view of the waterfront city changes beautifully with the passing hours. On the top floor, there is also a special display where images are projected onto the sparkling night view. After soaking in the port city views, head back towards Yokohama Station, but why not make your journey even more stylish? Take a “Sea Bass” for a mini night cruise and enjoy the waterfront views!

The “Sea Bass” connects major spots like Yokohama Station East Exit, Hammerhead, Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, and Yamashita Park by water. The direct route between Yokohama Station East Exit and Yamashita Park takes about 20 minutes. Take in the scenic views of Yokohama Port while avoiding traffic. Don’t forget to take a souvenir photo with the Minato Mirai skyline in the background. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, special 60-minute guided cruises with a unique route are also available.
