Hakkeijima Sea Paradise is located to the south of Yokohama. The complex includes a shopping outlet park and eastern Japan's largest aquarium. It is well worth the 30 minutes train ride from Yokohama.

4 of the ladies toilets within the complex have diaper changing tables. *The 1st floor factory outlet toilet has a diaper changing table equipped room. Male customers can use the diaper changing tables in the toilet.

Enjoy your encounter with creatures of the sea on an island in the middle of Tokyo Bay
Hakkeijima is a man-made island with many leisure facilities in the middle of Tokyo Bay, based on motifs inspired from the sea. The 3 aquariums on Hakkeijima have 3 different themes, such as one featuring dolphins, another general aquarium where you get to learn about the creatures of the sea etc. A theme park with rides and attractions for all ages, and the bay market where you can buy foods and souvenirs. The “Touch and Learn Lagoon” where you can come into direct contact with creatures of the sea is very popular. Hakkeijima also has a hotel.
Aqua Museum
At the Aqua Museum, one of Japan’s largest aquariums, there are 500 different species/100,000 aquatic animals including polar bears, walruses, sharks and sardines. One huge fish tank holds two whale sharks, the largest extant fish species.
Special Topics 1 FUREAI(Touch and Learn)
The “Touch and Learn Lagoon” consists of the “Whale Ocean” tank where the dolphins swim, the “Sakana Reef” where species of aquatic animals found in Tokyo bay are kept, and the “Hireashi Beach” where you can observe seals and walruses. The unique display methods allow visitors to physically interact with the animals.
