Sankeien Garden is the vast classical Japan garden covering over 175,000 square meters, renowned for its seasonal beauty.

During the New Year’s holidays, “Kakushokaku,” the historic building located in the Sankeien Garden which was a former residence of Sankei Hara, the founder of the Garden, will be open for public. The traditional Japanese cultural performances will be held during this period.

*Knife ceremony is traditional Japanese ceremony continued from 1100 years ago. It is a traditional ceremony where fish or chicken are cut by only using chopsticks and knife. Some cooks still perform this ceremony even today to cultivate there mind set towards cooking. Knife ceremony is a solemn ceremony but at the same time, it a basic graceful and elegant welcoming.
