The Japan Newspaper Museum

The Japan Newspaper Museum is located within the Yokohama Media and Communications Center. Its permanent exhibit introduces the history of newspapers and the process of newspaper making. Visitors can experience the newspaper making process on computers. The building of Yokohama Media and Communications Center is the former Commerce and Industry Promotion Center built in memory of recovery from the Great Kanto Earthquake, with a newly-added high story tower. It is one of Yokohama City's historic buildings. The Newspaper Library is also included within the property.
