Run by one of the biggest halal food shops in the city, AGM Trading, Hari Rasai serves strictly halal Sri Lankan cuisine. All the ingredients used for cooking are halal, and the restaurant does not serve a drop of alcohol. That said, Hari Rasai offers delicious Sri Lankan dishes like Kottu Roti (Sri Lankan fried short noodles) and biryani, all cooked from scratch right in their own kitchen. The lunch buffet is reasonably priced at 880yen, and comes with 3 types of curry, salad, papad, rice, freshly baked naan bread and a drink. Opened just two years ago in November 2011, this pleasant little joint is already a popular hangout with local customers as well as international students from nearby universities. They also deliver their delicious halal food within the area. Or you can get it to go, to enjoy tasty treats like Kottu Roti or other popular dishes like their chicken biryani at home!
