Hotel New Grand terpilih sebagai salah satu dari "Daftar 25 Tradisi Liburan dan Pertunjukan Spektakuler Teratas"

December 18, 2023, Hotel New Grand was selected as one of the "Top 25 Holiday Traditions and Spectacular Displays List” by the prestigious international organization, Historic Hotels Worldwide.

Historic Hotels Worldwide® highly regards Hotel New Grand as a designated historic monument and one of Japan's most historic Western-style hotels. Established in 1927, the hotel warmly welcomes guests during the holiday season with special amenities and decorations.

The annual "Garden of Lights" illumination event, held since 2021, transforms the courtyard into a festive display, complemented by magical illuminations of the "Arch of Light" and "Wreath of Light" near the central fountain. As part of the yearly "Yorunoyo" lights event, the "Illumine Yokohama 2023: Yokohama's Future Shines" holiday program, curated by acclaimed lighting designers Motoko Ishii and Akari-Lisa Ishii, takes place in the park in front of the hotel. Guests in Bayfront guestrooms can enjoy the dynamic light and sound art piece from their rooms.

Other holiday traditions at Hotel New Grand include Kadomatsu displays from December 24 to January 7, placed in front of the Tower Hall to celebrate the New Year. Two holiday trees are showcased: a real fir tree in the Tower Hall lobby and another in the second-floor lobby of the main building with a Santa Claus display. Additionally, the hotel offers a Christmas-exclusive accommodation package, featuring a guestroom adorned with a Christmas tree and festive decor, a Christmas cake by the pastry chef, carefully selected champagne, and a gift from Santa Claus.
