Over a century has passed since archaeologist Howard Carter discovered the tomb of King Tutankhamun in 1922. Yet, the fascination with ancient Egypt continues to grow, as ongoing excavations and research reveal new findings. Supervised by renowned Egyptologist Shōjō Kawae, this exhibition invites you to explore the enduring mystery of King Tutankhamun through a fully interactive and immersive experience.

Tutankhamun, the son of Akhenaten—the pharaoh who attempted a radical shift from polytheism to monotheism—remains shrouded in mystery, partly due to his family being erased from historical records. This exhibition sheds light on his enigmatic story.

Visitors can marvel at more than 130 ultra-realistic super replicas, including a fully reconstructed burial chamber, immersive projection displays, and stunning CG renderings created from 3D scans of real artifacts such as the golden mask and throne. By combining analog craftsmanship and cutting-edge digital technology, the exhibition offers an extraordinary, otherworldly journey through the heart of ancient Egypt.
