As their first attempt expanding their operations abroad under the Kahala brand, the luxury hotel "The Kahala Hotel & Resort Yokohama" opened in Minato Mirai 21 area in September 2020. "The Kahala Hotel" originally located on the island of Oahu in Hawaii, is a luxury hotel visited by VIP guests such as kings, presidents and prime ministers from different countries. Visitors can enjoy a luxurious moment in the seaside area adjacent to "Pacifico Yokohama North", the MICE facility which opened in April. With rooms over 47 square meters, this hotel is one of the largest in the Minato Mirai area, providing a spacious and comfortable hotel life away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Their main dining is an Italian restaurant, besides others of Japanese food, teppanyaki, lounge and bar. Visitors can also try the most popular dishes of their menus in Hawaii. Furthermore, you can buy in their gift shop the popular Hawaiian souvenir "chocolate covered Macadamia nuts".
