Located on the 3rd floor of the Yokohama office of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), spacious Port Terrace Café is a great setting to stretch out and unwind while enjoying the magnificent view of the bay - especially on the outdoor terrace. The café offers a diverse and reasonably-priced menu, including dishes made with halal meat, to serve JICA's trainees from around the world and drop-in visitors alike. For Muslim guests, there are always two main choices of halal-meat dishes on the menu: sautéed halal lamb and a halal meat "dish of the week". Also available are 3 vegetarian dishes that change every week, giving repeat visitors something new to look forward to every day. Even if you do not speak the language, the menu is presented as plastic food samples along with the main ingredients (given in English) at the entrance. To order a dish, just take the token placed by the food sample and hand it to the cashier for easy breezy ordering! If you want to take away some tasty halal treats, they're available for sale near the cashier, with halal cup noodles and cakes to satisfy your late night cravings.
