YOKOHAMA URBAN SPORTS FESTIVAL ʻ23

This event is an urban sports entertainment festival that combines top athletes from around the world with the allure of street culture, which is the origin of these sports. It is full of elements to "watch, experience, eat, and enjoy." Since the summer of 2021, the festival has featured skateboarding, which constantly features top Japanese athletes on the world stage, as well as breaking and parkour, which are gaining attention. Additionally, the festival includes competitions and exhibitions for all seven types of urban sports, including BMX flatland, double Dutch, freestyle football, and paluoni. For children, there are various urban sports workshops and experience events, as well as a culture market featuring fashion, gear, and food. All of these contents can be enjoyed free of charge, with no admission fee required.
