The African Festival Yokohama, which was designed based on the basic philosophy of bridging the culture between Japan and Africa, is celebrating its 13th year, and the number of visitors is increasing year by year, demonstrating the people's interest in Africa. In 2013, the 5th African Development Conference (TICAD V) was held in Yokohama, and the exchange between Yokohama and Africa has become increasingly active. The content that can be enjoyed from children to adults is also substantial this time. An embassy corner full of information on African countries, a presentation by the African embassy, a stage of African music and dance, and a workshop on African ethnic instruments and dances, and Africans selling African handicrafts, clothing and food etc. You can enjoy Africa, enjoy the exchange of African people, including a market, a food court that sells African food and drinks, and experience like visiting Africa.
