SANKEIEN GARDEN
SANKEIEN GARDEN is the final home of Sankei Hara, who made his fortune in the silk trade and contributed to the creative activities of Tagore of India, the first Novel Prize winner in Asia and Taikan Yokoyama of Japan. The entire area of SANKEIEN GARDEN is designated as the National Site of Scenic Beauty and the facility consists of 17 buildings, including 10 important cultural properties and 3 tangible cultural properties designated by the City of Yokohama. In particular, Rinshunkaku, an important cultural property, was just renovated in the latter half of 2022.

For travel designers, we would highly recommend SANKEIEN GARDEN as one of the best destinations to enjoy Japanese-culture-based MICE events in one of the best Japanese garden. Many travelers will also be greatly interested in having a curator guide of SANKEIEN GARDEN through the art collection left behind by Sankei Hara.
We also recommend renting out Rinshunkaku and Hakuuntei for tea ceremony and/or flower arrangement events, while they have recently been able to be chartered for parties of luxury brands. We encourage you to create an experience that allows your clients to fully enjoy Japanese culture in one of the best gardens in Japan.

We hope your clients will enjoy the essence of Japanese garden as seen by Sankei Hara.
