Kanagawa Kenmin Hall

Kanagawa Kenmin Hall was established in 1975 as a performing arts centre with international standard facilities for theatre and music. It is located in front of Yamashita Park, close to the port of Yokohama on one side and Chinatown on the other.
It is the home of “The Kanagawa International Arts Festival”, organized by the Kanagawa Arts Foundation, which features opera, ballet and dance, as well as orchestral and chamber music, as well as many other types of events involving artistic creation and promotion.
