Yokohama Park

Yokohama Park was opened in the former site of Miyozaki licensed quarter in 1876 as the first western-style park in Japan that both foreigners and Japanese can use. It is a registered monument, and has the oldest park monument in Japan. The 63,000 square meter grounds include the Yokohama Stadium, a fountain, a Japanese garden and play equipments. Tulips are in full bloom during the spring.
