Hakkeijima Hydrangea Festival 2019

Every year in the month of June, the Hydrangea Festival is held in Hakkeijima. During the festival, you can see 20,000 hydrangeas in full bloom on this man-made island, the most you can find anywhere in Kanagawa Prefecture. There are numerous hydrangea-related events, including the Hydrangea Stamp Rally, Hydrangea Train, Hydrangea waterfall bamboo lantern illumination, and restaurants offering specialty menus.

The hydrangea garden path stamp rally has been held since the festival started. You can participate in the stamp rally for free on any day during the festival. Participants will get a shopping discount, and the participants who complete the stamp rally will get a discount for the tickets for Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise.
